This course will explore WordPower’s intuitive language options, and efficient communication strategies to enhance AAC user success. Participants will be guided through the fundamentals, advanced features, and real-world applications of WordPower, blending theory with hands-on experiences to solidify understanding.  Discover the core guiding principles of WordPower and uncover lesser-known features to optimize its full potential.

Participants will gain practical skills and insights to tailor WordPower’s features to meet the unique needs of each AAC learner. Updates and evolving capabilities of WordPower will be discussed, preparing you to stay on top of the latest advancements in AAC technology. With device demonstrations and dedicated practice time, you’ll leave equipped to enhance communication outcomes in any AAC setting.

• Identify two features of WordPower to support literacy.

60 minutes - In depth hands-on:

• Computer Control with NovaChat
• Implementation

10 minutes - Questions, Wrap up
