Due to public health concerns about the Covid-19 virus, PRC-Saltillo will only be providing in-person trainings when we can comply with CDC and local guidelines, and we feel we can ensure the health and safety of our hosts, attendees, and trainers. PRC provides practical and clinically sound product training and AAC implementation classes based on years of client support. All of our classes are designed and taught by speech language pathologists, special educators and occupational therapists with extensive expertise in the field.
Master the technology with classes that teach the ins and outs of operating and programming the software. Understand and gain proficiency in PRC’s language systems, including Unity®, LAMP Words for Life®, CoreScanner™, UNIDAD®, WordPower™ or Essence®. Support and teach individuals who use AAC with implementation courses from PRC. Learn how to better use and integrate communication devices in school or at home with classes such as Getting Beyond Basic Requesting and 10 Tips to Help Grow Language. Even better: Earn ASHA CEUs while learning about the real-world practice of AAC. Ideal for professionals as well as parents, classes are available live online or in person. View the schedule
Live online classes are taught by instructors who specialize in AAC and are held online via popular screen-sharing software. Participate, follow along and ask questions via chat or live voice.
