Welcome to AAC Pro Coaching Clinic! This series has been designed for professionals who want to increase their communication partner skills. It includes a total of five eLearning courses and three live, instructor-led trainings.The first eLearning module provides an overview for the AAC Pro Coaching Clinic and introduces our first communication partner strategy: Making AAC Available. Through interactive elements, you'll learn about myths often associated with AAC, research behind communication partner strategies and why they are so important, as well as ways to make AAC available always and all ways.
Before you begin this eLearning module, please complete the pre-survey questions. To begin your eLearning journey, select the Start Learning Now button in the upper right of your screen. You will see the link to open the AAC Pro Coaching Clinic Pre-Survey. Once you complete and submit that, you will select the Next button, which will open the eLearning course. Learner Outcomes:
1. Describe the impact of a communication partner's skills on an AAC communicator's interaction.
2. List at least six different communication partner strategies for increasing interaction opportunities when talking with an AAC communicator.
3. Explain two different options for making sure an AAC communicator has access to their vocabulary in any setting.
