This product training focuses on basic programming and operations of any PRC device (Accent^® 800/ 1000/1400, Via Pro, PRiO^® or legacy devices). Participants will learn how to: choose a vocabulary, change the voice, set the access method, add vocabulary and messages, add photos, temporarily limit vocabulary, disable the toolbox and perform a memory transfer to back up device contents. In addition, participants will learn about basic care and maintenance.

A device is required for this training. Please bring an Accent 800, 1000, 1400, Via Pro or PRiO device running the latest version of software. Participants can bring a Windows laptop computer pre-loaded with the Accent demo software.

Learner Outcomes:

1. set a vocabulary, voice and access method for an individual.
2. customize a vocabulary by adding personalized words and messages.
3. perform a memory transfer to back up device contents as well as disable the toolbox.
