Come join us as we celebrate the diverse superpowers available in the Unity Universe with UNIDAD. The UNIDAD language system is a robust bilingual option designed to provide access to complete English and Spanish language systems within an AAC device. We’ll demystify the challenge of providing equitable bilingual vocabulary to individuals who are nonverbal and living in a Spanish-English speaking environment. As we explore the vocabulary options, you’ll see the power of code switching and mirrored vocabulary organization between two languages. You don’t need to speak Spanish in order to take advantage of this power-packed vocabulary.
Be a Bilingual Superhero with UNIDAD is intended for speech-language pathologists, educators, parents and anyone wanting to learn how to support nonverbal individuals living in a Spanish-English speaking environment. This class is presented in English.
