Cordelia (Cory) earned her Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech, and completed her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at James Madison University. Cory has worked as a clinical Speech-Language Pathologist initially in the inpatient acute care setting with patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries and multiple medical complications. She later transitioned to the outpatient neurological rehabilitation setting in 2013. She worked to develop the AAC clinic within her outpatient setting and cross train inpatient clinicians to provide AAC evaluation and treatment. Her practice included AAC evaluations and treatment for adult and pediatric patients with aphasia, TBI, autism, CP and other neurological speech and language deficits.
Cory holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and a state license in Speech-Language Pathology from the State of Maryland.
