Morgan received a Bachelor’s of Communication Disorders and Sciences from Baylor University and her Master’s in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Wichita State University. She has been a speech language pathologist for many years working in both the school and clinical setting. She began her experience with AAC in when serving the public school system in a middle and high school in Kansas. Upon moving to Alabama, she became an AAC specialist at a private clinic. After leaving that clinic, she started a private practice where she was contracted to work in a preschool for children with complex communication needs. This led her to the position with PRC-Saltillo where she was able to grow the skills that gave her a love for working with people with complex communication and support the families and teams of these people.
Morgan holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of ASHA’s Special Interest Division 12 (AAC Division).
