Chelsea earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Mississippi and completed her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorder from the University of Houston. She has worked in the field of assistive technology and augmentative/alternative communication her entire career, serving children who use communication devices. Prior to joining PRC, Chelsea worked for a public school in Mississippi as a Speech Language Pathologist. In her most recent position, she collaborated on a multidisciplinary team at a pediatric outpatient clinic, treating children with a variety of diagnoses. She has extensive experience providing training and technical support to clinicians, teachers, and families of device users.
Chelsea holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), has a Texas Speech Language Pathology License and is a member of Houston Association for Communication Disorders (HACD). She is also a member of the ASHA Division 12 (AAC division). Chelsea was formerly a Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) certified professional.
