This course is offered for 0.1 ASHA CEUs (Introductory level, Professional area).
This course provides excellent strategies for using apps to develop language and generalize that language to other activities. It provides resources to show how the development of specific core vocabulary addresses Common Core Standards. The chart of vocabulary that can be elicited with each app is an excellent tool to help determine which app would be useful at each stage of language development, and to provide ideas for language expansion. Dawn M.
I loved this course. It was fun and really got me thinking about "fun" ways to teach new vocabulary or reinforce learned vocabulary. Marsha B.
Janet gave an excellent presentation with wonderful written support materials! Nancy I.
