All new Accent® 1400, 1000, and 800 devices shipping from PRC will include Empower. At launch, Unity®, LAMP Word for Life®, and LAMP Words for Life-VI language systems will be available in Empower. NuVoice® will continue to run CoreScanner™, LAMP Words for Life-Spanish/English, UNIDAD®, Essence®, and WordPower™ language systems.

Yes. Whatever voices you have purchased with your device will be available in both Empower and NuVoice.

Once the software is released for sale, demo devices will be available.
NuVoice will continue to ship on every new Accent device as well. For now, it will continue to run CoreScanner, LAMP Words for Life-Spanish/English, UNIDAD, Essence, or WordPower. NuVoice will be supported for many years to come.
Not yet; however, we are excited for our existing clients to gain access to Empower. We intend to roll out this software to existing customers (with Accent 1400/ Accent 1000 serial numbers 5000AC10 and higher/ Accent 800 serial numbers 3000AC8 and higher) once we can provide a good transition experience.
We are still working on the transition process and currently you cannot transfer a file from NuVoice software to Empower software. When this is ready an announcement will be made. At that time, we will provide access to Empower software free of charge.
We do not anticipate that devices will need to be sent to PRC for the upgrade; however, if a device requires a return to PRC, service, shipping and handling fees may apply.
