AAC Webinars

PRC offers webinars to share information about AAC products and best practices and resources for teaching language. 

Attend a webinar and learn about products or services from your home or place of employment. Using your computer, you can attend a live broadcast where you’ll hear the presenter speaking and watch a presentation on your screen.  For most webinars, you need to register ahead of time to reserve a place and obtain instructions for joining the program on the scheduled day and time.

AAC Language Lab

Take a tour of PRC’s new AAC Language Lab.  In this tour you will find descriptions of six language development stages, helpful tips for choosing a version of Unity® that’s right for each stage, and sets of lesson plans for teaching language at each stage.  There are many more resources to explore; including the Unity Curriculum, language teaching ideas in the devices, and lessons to use with IntelliTools Classroom Suite.  We will show you how to find the smart charts with icon sequences for Unity, and how to find PowerPoint slide shows created just for teaching the language concepts in each stage.  You’ll also find many suggested goals and objectives for language development that you can adapt and use in IEPs.
