Tips for Transition from Static to Dynamic Display |

Are you feeling challenged at the thought of how to transition an augmented communicator who as been using a static display such as that on an AlphaTalker™ to the dynamic display on a SpringBoard? After replicating the static display on the SpringBoard, using “Import Icons” if necessary, consider creating a paper copy of the SpringBoard display, and place it on the SpringBoard screen under the keyguard. As the user acclimates to the new device, the paper overlay can be removed. The paper overlay can continue to be used as a back-up system for activities such as swimming.
Materials: A printed copy of the dynamic display.
Objective: To ease transition from static to dynamic display.
