Sometimes it can be difficult plugging the charger into the back of the Accent 1200 due to the location of the port. To help with that situation, we now have a Charging Extension Cable available. This is a small cable that plugs into the regular charging port and the other end gets mounted by the handle to allow easier charging access. If you would like to request this adapter, please email the service department at service@prentrom.com with your serial number and address NOTE: limit of 2 per year per device. Additional adapters available at cost.

Installing the Cable
1. Place the device face down on a clean flat surface.
2. Plug in the Charging Extension Cable into the Battery Charging port on the Standard Connector Module.
3. Position the cable connector over the end of the charging extension cable like shown in the picture below.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have a Keyguard Mounting Frame on your device you will need the extended replacement screw. If you do not have the added Frame, you can use the original screw already inserted in the handle.
4. Loosen the screw on the left side of the carry handle (the side above the charger jack) until it comes apart from the device. If you have a Keyguard Mounting Frame on the device remove the screw completely from the handle and replace it with the extended replacement screw.
5. Slightly lift the left side of the handle and position the cable connector under the handle so the holes are aligned. Thread the screw through the handle and cable connector and start the screw into the threaded insert on the top of the case and tighten.
