The pictures below show a PRC ECO™ device. The instructions for the Accent 1200 are exactly the same.
Note: You received six screen protectors in your package. Three have a matte finish and three have a luster finish. The matte finish offers the most glare resistance. The luster finish offers the least glare resistance. To help you tell the difference, the matte finish screen protectors have a small red square on the back of their protective holders.
Note: If you plan to use only a Screen Protector, you do not need to install a Keyguard Frame. If you plan to use a Screen Protector with a Keyguard or Touchguide, install the Screen Protector first, then install the Keyguard Frame.
Before you begin: If your display screen is very dirty, turn your device Off and clean it first with Windex®, a flat screen TV/computer display cleaner or rubbing alcohol. Use a lint-free cloth like the static cloths used to clean flat screen TVs and computer displays. Lightly spray the display, then thoroughly dry and polish the display. This will remove any residue the cleaner might leave on the display.
Turn your device OFF.
Very lightly mist the display screen with water or a flat-screen TV cleaner. You want only a very thin mist which you will leave on the screen.
Peel the Screen Protector from its cardboard backing and lay it on your display screen. The side that was against the cardboard is the side that should be placed against the screen.
The mist on your display should allow you to slide the Screen Protector around until you have it positioned so it covers your display from corner to corner.
Use the squeegee card that came in your kit to smooth out the Protector. You want to get any wrinkles and air bubbles out. Some of the mist will drip out. This is all right. You will wipe it off in a minute.
When the Protector is smooth, take the static or lint-free cloth and thoroughly dry the Protector, the edges around the display screen and the device case.
Let your device air dry completely before turning it on (5 minutes or so).
To Remove the Screen Protector
Carefully peel back one of the corners of the Screen Protector and then gently pull it off your display screen.
To Clean the Screen Protector
Turn your device OFF.
If the Screen Protector is extremely dirty, just remove it and follow the directions above to place a new Protector on the display.
If it just needs to be wiped off, mist it lightly with a glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol and wipe it off with a lint free cloth. If you are using a Keyguard or Touchguide with the Protector, remove it before cleaning the Screen Protector.
