Windows Access Settings (located under Customize Eyegaze Settings Menu)

Magnify Window Clicks ON
This means you can select an area in your Windows application and it will appear in a magnified box. This makes it easier for you to select the options you want in your application.
Magnification Factor
Thisallows you to set how you want an area to be magnified—2 times larger (2X) 4 times larger (4X).
Magnification Area (in number of pixels)
This allows you to select the size of the area you are magnifying.
We recommend that you select different numbers for Factor and Area and try them out in an application on your device. You'll then have a good idea of what works for you.
There is a 2-click rhythm for using Magnification
Click on (or select with your Access Method) the option or menu you want.
Click it again to open or select it.
Click on the option or menu you want.
Click it again to open it.
Continue in this manner until you have performed the action you want.
Magnify Inside Application
When this is On, it will magnify any area you selct in the NuVoice application as well as in Windows applications.
Windows Acceptance Time: Same/.10 - 5.0
Same is the default. The Acceptance Time you selected for your NuVoice Application is used is used when you are working in Windows applications.
You may find you need a different Acceptance Time when you are working in Windows than the one you set for your communication pages. This option allows you to change the Acceptance Time for Windows only.
Mouse Post-select
OFF is the default.
When this is On, if you select a key in a Windows application, you will see the Mouse-Post Select menu. From it you can select the action you want to perform.

Configuration
The Mouse Post-Select menu is a 2x2 box with two buttons in the top row and two buttons in the bottom row. You can select to have all four buttons arranged horizontally or vertically.
Button Size
You can choose the size of the four buttons in the box, from Small to Huge.
Font Size
Each button has some text on it telling you what the button will do. You can change the text from very small (8) to very large (32). The default is 12.

Select this to set up your mouse button
Type
Select what you want the button to do: Left Click, Right Click, Double Click, Click and Hold, Hide/Show NuVoice (this will hide your NuVoice application in your task bar), Hide/Show User Defined Keys (this action will show or hide the TOOLS menu) .
Notice that there are two preview keys on your screen. These will change as you make selections from the options.
Change Icon
Takes you to the Icon Categories page where you can select an icon.
Change Text
Allows you to change the label on the button.
Normal Text Color
Allows you to change the color of the text on your buttons.
Normal Button Color
Allows you to change the color of the normal button.
The “normal” button is the key you see most of the time. The “hover” button is the one you see when you hover over a key before you select it. Often in applications you can hover over menus and actions for more information about them.
Restore Defaults
Allows you to return to all the original settings in this menu.
