How do I Reset the Accent to the Original Overlays?

If you want to erase all custom vocabulary and return your Accent to its original state, you can do this by selecting Reset to Factory Defaults in the MAINTENANCE menu.  All of your User Areas will be re-set exactly the way they were when you received the Accent from PRC.

1. Select the Tools key.

2. Select the Maintenance Menu.

3. Select Reset to Factory Defaults.

4. You will see a warning message that says, "Are you sure you want to erase everything?  Select YES to continue the reset. Select NO to cancel the reset.

5. The reset will take a few minutes on a device. 

6. Select OK to exit

7. Select Go To Minspeak to return to the main overlay.

IMPORTANT!   If you have custom vocabulary in your device that you wish to keep:

Perform a memory transfer before you reset to factory defaults. If you do not do this, all custom vocabulary will be lost.
