Using the Set Up Key for Simple Programming

Four Things:  You can modify four things on a “key”

1.       You can change the picture

2.       You can change the label

3.       You can change what the message prints on the text bar.

4.       You can record a message

8 Steps to Remember when using Set-Up Key:

1.       Make sure the key you want to modify is showing on your screen

2.       Touch the Set-Up Key

3.       Touch the key you want to modify

4.       Touch “Spell text to display” and type the message you want to appear in the text box on the device.   *Remember to put a space after the last word

5.      Press and hold the Record Message button, then speak your message. Release key when finished speaking.  Select Listen to Recording to verify the message sounds OK.

6.       Touch “change icon” and then “spell icon to find” to search for new icon

7.      Verify that your label on the key says what you want it to say If not, touch “change label” to modify

8.      When finished programming, touch “OK” to get back to core
