How do I Program in a Custom TV Channel on the Vantage Lite?

To program a customized TV channel (for example, channel 256), you will create a macro for one key that contains the channels, 2, 5 and 6.

IMPORTANT NOTE! Your device must already know the signals for the functions on your remote control. These functions include learning the channels 0 - 9. If you haven't taught the signals to your device yet, do so before you begin this exercise.

1. Go to the TOOLBOX and select MODIFY PAGE .

2. Select More Items until you see the TV key. Select it.

3. Select the key you want to program with the channel 256.

4. Select Spell Text for Message.

5. Select Insert Tool. You must be using the spelling QWERTY overlay or have this tool programmed on your spelling page to use this functions.

6. Select More Items until you see the tool, IR. Select it.

7. Select TV as your Device.

8. Select 2 as your channel.

9. Repeat steps 5-8 until you build the channel 2 5 6 as shown below.

10. Now you have a macro for channel 256.
The only thing left to do is to change the Icon and Label if you would like.

11. The next time you go to the TV page you will see your custom channel.
