WCMK - Attaching the Frame Clamp to the Wheelchair

1.  On the Wheelchair, select the location where you will be attaching the Frame Clamp.

2. Loosen the 2 bolts from the cap of the Frame Clamp until the cap is removed. Fit the cap of the clamp around the tube on the inside of the bar. Replace the bolts and tighten gently, alternating between the 2 bolts until each is tight.

The Cap should face towards the inside of the wheelchair and the Body should face away from the wheelchair.

This is a picture of the cap on the Daessy Frame Clamp.

3  On the outside of the Clamp, the body must be rotated around the Clamp so that the tube hole is vertical and the metal pin is pointing up.

This shows the hex screws inside the frame clamp.

4. This clamp can be rotated slightly forward to adjust the bar further away to allow better access to the device.  To adjust the frame clamp, the 2 hex screws inside the end of the clamp must be loosened slightly.  Use the T-Wrench that came with your mounting system.

This shows the WC Frame Clamp mounted on a chair.

Rotate the clamp so the silver pin is slightly forward.  Remember to tighten the hex screws before installing the bar.

This shows the Clamp on the wheelchair shifted forward.

Notice how the bar is extended away from the user rather than too close.
