Quick Release Mount 2 and New Mounting Plates
Important Note: If you have a PRC device manufactured before 2009, you need to call PRC and request a new mounting plate with the locking pin hole. Ask for the mounting plate that will fit your device.

The new PRC Quick Release Mount 2 (QRM2) easily fits onto the mounting plate on the back of your device.
General Instructions
You will slide the QRM2 onto the mounting plate on the back of your device. When the mount is on correctly, the small pin on the Release Knob will click into the hole beneath it. The small pin must fit securely inside the hole. This helps hold the QRM2 onto the plate. Specific instructions are on the next pages.
Slide the QRM2 into the grooves on the mounting plate (VTL) or fit the QRM2 onto the sides of the mounting plate (other devices). Push the QRM2 all the way into and up the mounting grooves/plate.
You will hear a solid "click" when the mount is in place and you will no longer be able to push it forward.
If the pin does not automatically drop into its hole the first time, you may have to lift up on the Release Knob and then release it so that the pin goes into the small hole beneath it.
The pin helps hold the QRM on the mounting plate. When you hear the click, the QRM will feel solidly locked onto the plate.
Now you can connect the QRM2 to your wheelchair mount.
To Remove the QRM2
Pull up on the Release Knob to disconnect the pin from its hole. Slide the QRM2 down and out of its grooves or off the mounting plate.
