ECO 84 Location Fixed Keyguard
The 84 Location keyguard fits over the overlay portion of the touchscreen.
There are two holes on each side of the case, at the top and the bottom.
Place the keyguard on the touchscreen. The semi-circular cutout should be at the bottom of the case.
Fit the pegs on the keyguard arms into the holes in the case.
The keyguard is now fixed in place.
Hinged Keyguard
If you have a tool that will easily cut plastic, you can cut off the top two case connectors at the scored area on the plastic. This will allow the keyguard to flip down from the top but still remain connected to the case at the bottom. Or you can cut off the bottom connectors so the keyguard flips up from the bottom. If you would like this but don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, call the PRC Service Department.
You can use the 144 location keyguard as a whole keyguard or half a keyguard. Put both pieces on for a complete keyguard. The piece with the long connectors on the sides hooks on to the sides of the ECO at the top. The piece with the shorter connectors hooks on the bottom
If you wish, you can lift up on the plastic cutouts on the edges of the middle of the keyguard. This will raise and lower the top and bottom halves of the keyguard.
You can hook on only the top half or the only the bottom half if this suits you better.
