Getting to Know the Front of Your Vantage Lite.

                                                    This shows the front of the case.

 This is the On Off button.

             ON/OFF

Turns the device ON or OFF.  If you turn the Vantage Lite off with this button, you must use it to turn the device back on.

 

 This is a picture of the Tools key.

           TOOLBOX

Takes you to the Toolbox where you can use the system menus.

 This shows key 1 on the vantage lite.

             CHOOSE   ACTIVITY*

Press this to toggle through your Activity Row.

 

 

 This shows Key 2 on the VTL

                 SET-UP*

This key allows you to program overlay keys without going to the Toolbox. It works with the MODIFY PAGE, MODIFY ACTIVITY, ASSIGN CORE KEYS and STORE menus and the Modify Item within an Activity or Page menu.

 

  Unassigned key 3.

This key has no assignment. You can assign whatever function you want to this key.

Keys 1, 2 and 3 are User Defined keys. Keys 1 and 2 have been pre-programmed for you to perform some often-used functions. Key 3 is unassigned. You can program them to do whatever you wish. See page XX.

RECORDING MICROPHONE

This is the small round hole near the top right of the case. When you record messages, speak toward this area. 

 This shows the rest of the case front.

 This shows the charging LED on the front of the case.

              BATTERY 

           CHARGING

 

When you plug in the charger, the "Charging" light flashes.  A rapid flash indicates fast-charging; a slow flash indicates that the battery is charged but it will continue to trickle-charge as long as the charger is plugged in.

 

 This is the low battery icon.

    BATTERY LOW

 

When this light flashes, the batteries need to be charged.  Plug in the charger.
