How do I Release the Vantage Lite from Shipping Mode?
Release the Vantage Lite from Shipping Mode
In order to use your device you must release it from shipping mode. Any of the following options will work.
Option 1
Plug in the Charger
Plug the battery charger that came with the device into the battery charger jack on the right side of the case.
Plug the other end of the charger into a working electrical outlet.
With the charger plugged in, press and release the 
button on the front of the case.
Option 2
The battery must be working (i.e. not dead) for this option to work.
Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the front of the case for 10 seconds.
Let go of the button.
The Vantage Lite is released from Shipping Mode.
Option 3
If you do not have a charger handy use the reset button
Find the small hole on the back of the case near the bottom right corner. (See arrow and label above.)
The RESET button is at the bottom of this hole.
Insert something thin (a straightened paper clip works well) into the hole and push once to reset the device.
The touch screen will come on.
If you want to turn the Vantage Lite Off, press the I/O button on the front of the case. Press it again to turn the Vantage Lite back On.
