All of the Phone Tools are insertable tools: (Dial Pad, Dial Number, Send, Send Text Message, Text Messages). Use one of the storing menus in the Toolbox to store these tools under icon sequences or assign them to keys on your overlay. Using the Dial Pad The Phone Dial Pad allows you to perform all phone functions: making calls, answering calls, using Minspeak to carry on conversations, sending text messages and receiving text messages. You can configure the phone from the Dial Pad. To make a call, the phone card must be active (a red and white icon visible in the Status Display Area) and there must also be bars visible. To Make a Call 1. Activate the number keys on the keypad to dial the number you want. 2. Activate Send.
3. While the phone is ringing, you can select Go to Minspeak so you are ready to talk when someone answers. NOTE: If you do not see a Go To Minspeak key on your Dial Pad, select OK to go to your overlay. 4. When the call has ended, activate End on the Dial Pad. The Clear button clears the display.
