Saving Vocabulary and emailing an MTI Using the PASS Software.

If you are working with the PASS software and want to share a Memory Transfer with someone, you can email a copy of the custom vocabulary.

You must first have the file saved on your computer from the PASS Software.

To Save the Memory Transfer files:

1.  Select the Tools tab at the top of your PASS software, then selecting Memory Transfer.

2.  This will bring up the Transfer Memory Screen.  Select Save One User Area or Save Entire Device Contents.  If you selected Save One User Area, you will then be prompted to select the user area you want to save.  Selecting One User will also be a smaller file and should not need to be compressed, whereas Entire Device Contents may need to be.

3.  A popup window will now ask you where you want to save the file to and what you want to name the file.  Make sure when you save your file you remember the location you are saving it to and that the name of the file ends with .mti    If your file does not have the extension .mti your file will not load into the PASS software or into a device.
