How do I Edit Core Vocabulary?

To Edit a Message:

1. Activate the key to go to the Toolbox.

2. Activate EDIT CORE. This shows the Edit Core key located in the Toolbox.

3. Select the icon sequence for the message you want to edit. Then select OK.

This is a sample icon sequence to modify.

4. In the Storing menu, activate DECtalk under Type of Message.

5. Activate Spell Text for Message.

Spell Text for Message to edit the message.

6. Edit the message.

Press the Text Display Area at any time to listen to the message.

7. Activate OK.

8. If you want to add a recording, change the label, key color or change the icon, do it now.

This shows how you can change the icon and the label.

9. Activate OK. Then select GO TO MINSPEAK to return back to core.
