Secure Digital Card Transfer

This is a picture of a SD Card.

Important Note:  The maximum size for Secure Digital Cards is 2GB for Memory Transfers or playing sound files in PRC Devices. If trying to use a removeable disk larger than recommended, the device may not recognize the disk.

1. Open the Memory door on the left side of the device and insert the Secure Digital card in the small slot above the system card. Insert the card face-up (the side with the writing on it should be face up). Push it in until it stays securely. (Push on the end of the card again to remove the card.)

2. Go to the TOOLBOX on your device.

3. Open the TRANSFER MEMORY MENU.

4. Change the MTI Method option to SD Card.  If the card is securely in place, you will see a note telling you Disk Status: READY and the amount of space available on the card.  NOTE:  It may take a few seconds for the option name to change in the box after you select an up or down arrow.

5. Now select the memory transfer option you want to use.

NOTE:  If you select the option to Save a file, type in the name you want to use for the file and select OK.

NOTE:  If you select the option to Load a file, the list of file options will appear on your device.  Select the file you want to load.  You may receive a yellow box on your screen.  You must select Yes to Erase the vocabulary before loading.  Merge is not a functional option at this time and may scramble your vocabulary.

The transfer will begin automatically with a message of Memory Transfer in Progress.
