Installing the Left Panel Card Door on the ECO.

On some devices, the holes for installing the door are not visible through the label on the left side of the ECO.  These must be punched out before the door can be installed.

 Please follow these instructions:

1.  Place the door on the side panel just to the right of the reset button as shown in the picture above.

2.  Push on the black knobs on the door, causing indents to form on the label.

This picture shows punching out the side panel holes for the door.

3.  Using a pencil, place the tip of the pencil in the center of the indentation and push.  This process should pop out a circle.  Repeat this process for the other side so you have two holes.

This shows using an exacto knife to clean the holes.

4.  You will now need to clean out the holes and remove any label pieces that remain.  You can do this by carefully using an exacto knife around the inside edge of the hole.  This process must be done in order for the door pegs to fit.

5.  With the door pegs in the out position, place the door over the card slots and push down on the door, lining up the black knobs on the under side of the door with the holes you just created.

6.  Now, you can push in on the black pegs to hold the door in place.

NOTE:   If you have an accessory plugged into the Compact Flash or PCMCIA port on the side of your ECO, you will not be able to use this door.
