How do I Calibrate my Touch Screen on the SpringBoard Lite?
Over time you may notice that the icons and images on the SpringBoard's screen do not speak the correct message for the icon you selected or that the key next to the one you are pressing is activating. This is normal with a touch screen and can be easily fixed by recalibrating.
To Recalibrate the Display:
You must be in your Unity Overlay, the Toolbox or a Custom Page to recalibrate your screen. You cannot recalibrate from a menu.
1. On the top front of the SpringBoard case, press and hold the TOOLS key for 7 seconds. Release the TOOLS key when you see a + in the middle of your screen.

2. Using a stylus, a pen cap, or the eraser end of a pencil, press on the cross + and hold for 3 seconds.
3. Lift stylus.
4. The cross will move to the upper left section of the screen.
5. Press and hold the stylus on the cross + again, and then release.
6. Repeat this action until the cross + has traveled to all five points on the screen (the center plus four corners).
7. If the calibration is successful, you will see a message at the top of the screen that tells you, "New Calibration Settings have been measured. Tap the Screen to register saved data."
8. Tap the screen once before 30 seconds expire.
9. If the device recognizes the tap, the screen will return you to the Toolbox or wherever you started from.
10. If you do not see the message in Step 8, repeat these directions.
Recalibrating when SYSTEM LOCK is ON:
If you need to recalibrate the touch screen and SYSTEM LOCK is ON, you must press and hold the TOOLS key for 10 seconds, rather than 5 seconds. (If you hold the TOOLS key for 5 seconds you will enter the Toolbox, not the recalibrate screen. You must hold TOOLS for an additional 5 seconds to get to the recalibrate screen)
Reasons the Touch Screen may need to be Recalibrated:
1. You used your battery pack until there was no charge left in it.
2. Your battery pack was unplugged.
Important Note: You can put a HOLD on these calibration settings by going to the Toolbox, then to Maintenance Menu, then to Hardware Diagnostics. Now enter the Touch Screen test. Press the TOOLBOX key on the top of the case 5 times. You now will hear 6 beeps in return. This verifies that your new calibration settings have been stored, so if your device looses power or is reset, you should not have to recalibrate your device.
