How do I Copy and Paste Text Using Computer Emulation in my Pathfinder?
To copy and paste large amount of text from document to another if using the Unity Sequence in Computer Mode
1 Move mouse cursor to text you want to copy.
2 Select the left click command on PF2 <Serial Marker><esc>,click.
3 Select the Thumbs Down Key on PF2 to lock the left mouse key. <Serial Marker><esc>,moulock.
4 Use the mouse keys on the PF2 to highlight the text you want to copy.
- Once your text is highlighted, then select the Thumbs Up key to release the left mouse key <Serial Marker> <esc>,mourel.
6. Select the copy command (a key programmed with
<Serial Marker> <esc>,combine,ctrl,c.) to copy the text to the clipboard.
- Open the document you want to paste the text into and move the cursor to the correct location.
8. Select the Paste Command (a key programmed with <Serial Marker <esc>,combine,ctrl,v.)
These instructions are based on 128 Unity Sequenced but if you have Word Strategy with Mike, it should be very similar.
Make sure your Caps Lock and Num Lock are OFF when using computer emulation on the Computer Keyboard.
Remember that <esc> equals ctrl then [ which gives you the arrow pointing to the left.
