How do I Import Ring Tones in my Device?
If you have an available MP3, WMA, or WAV file that you wish to use for a Ring Tone you can import that easily.
1. Copy your file from your computer to your Flash Drive.
2. Remove your Flash Drive from your computer and plug it into the USB port on your device.
Note: You must have 4.05 software version or higher in order to Import Ring Tones.
3. Enter the Phone Configuration screen and select Ringer Menu.
4. Select Import Ring Tone. You will now see your USB Storage folder available. Select this folder to open.
5. Select the file from your Flash Drive folder that you wish to load. You will receive a Please Wait screen. Please Wait will disappear once the file is loaded.
Important Note: You can only have one Ring Tone imported into your device at a time.
6. Once loaded, you will see Imported Ring Tone: Available. Now go to the Ringer option and select Imported Tone.
7. You can also Clear a Ring Tone in the Ringer menu also.
8. Select OK several times to exit and wait for a call!
Note: PRC will provide support for the Vantage/Vanguard when importing MP3, WMA, or WAV files from a Flash Drive. Support for third-party vendors for Ring Tones should be obtained from the company that manufactures or sells those products or from your Phone Service Provider.
