How do I Enter/Exit Shipping Mode in my ECO?
To conserve the batteries, the ECO was put in Shipping Mode at the factory before it was sent to you.
To Exit Shipping Mode:
Plug in the ECO battery charger and then press the On/Off 
key on the front of the case. You will now see a license agreement screen. Once you select I Agree on the screen the unit will take a few moments to boot up.
To Put your Device into Shipping Mode:
If you plan to store the device for a month or more without using it: put the unit in Shipping Mode. Open the MAINTENANCE MENU in the Toolbox. Select Battery Menu and then select Shipping Mode. Unplug the battery charger and store it in a safe place.
You should also put the ECO into Shipping Mode if you need to send the device to PRC for servicing.
