Linking the TV Activity to the Remote Activity.
If you lost a pre-programmed link in the Remote Activity and want to relink a specific device; or if you created a new "device" in the IR setup menu and a new activity for that device and you need to create a new link in the Remote Activity, then follow these instructions:
1. Enter the System Menus and select the Activity Menu 2. Select No. 6 - Modify Item Within Activity
3. Select the option Activity to Modify. 4. Select Remote Activity. 5. Select the key you want to use as the link. If you wish to reprogram a key that already has information stored in it, select Clear Key Contents to erase all contents. We will relink the TV activity as an example.
6. Select No. 1 - Spell Text for Message 7. Select INSERT TOOL
8. Type S in the keyboard (for Set Activity). This will take you to all the tools starting with S. 9. Select No. 7 - More Items until you see Set Activity
10. Select SET ACTIVITY 11. Select the Activity you want to link to.
Important Note: Your pre-programmed TV activity will be gray, meaning that it is a dynamic activity - so it will not be shown in the activity row until activated in the Remote Activity. If you create a new activity for a new device, you will want to HIDE your activity after linking it in the Remote Activity. That way your new device will not be present in the activity row all the time. 12. Your link should look simillike the one below. If yeit does, select OK. If not, select Clear Display and follow steps 6 - 10 again.
13. Change the Icon and Label as desired 14. Select OK twice to exit |
