How do I Attach the Quick Release Mount to the Bar and my Device?
To attach the Quick Release Mount (QRM) to the Horizontal Bar on the Folding Mount, please follow these instructions:
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is difficult to make adjustment to the QRM with your device attached to it due to the size and weight of the device. We recommend that you remove your device from the mount before making any adjustments.
1. Loosen the two bolts on the clamp on the QRM with the T-wrench provided, just wide enough to slide onto the Horizontal Bar on the Folding Mount. It is best to do this while the mount is in the operational position (across the user) so you can get a close adjustment to start with.
2. Slide the device onto the QRM and slide the handle of the QRM into the locked position.
3. You will now see the basic position of a device mounted onto a Daessy Folding Mount via the QRM. You will need to adjust the device position specifically for the user since there are many variables with every user (device access- headpointing or switch user, height adjustments, and line of sight for driving purposed.
