Storing your Vantage II/Vanguard II for an Extended Period of Time.
If your AAC device will not be used for an extended period, in order to extend the life of the battery pack we recommend that you do the following:
For Vantage II, Vanguard II and all SpringBoards:
Fully charge the batteries in your device. When the batteries are fully charged, remove the battery door and unplug the battery pack connector. You may leave the unplugged battery pack in the device.
When you are ready to use the device again, re-connect the battery pack and fully charge the batteries before you use your device.
