How do I get my SpringBoard Plus to Speak?
If your words are coming up on the display but you have no sound, there are a few settings to check.
1. Look at the STATUS key in your TOOLBOX. If the Speech is On, the bar graph under the Speaker icon will have green lines. The green lines should be cover at least half of the bar graph. If they don't, select the Speaker Volume Up key in the Toolbox until the volume is up halfway. Select OK when finished and you should now have sound.
2. If your Speaker icon has red lines, your Speech is Off and needs to be turned On.
3. In the Toolbox, select the Speech On/Off key. The Speaker icon's red lines will turn to green to show that your Speech is now On. Select OK when finished.
4. If the Speech is On and your Volume is at least half way but there is still no sound, check the FEEDBACK MENU.
5. In the FEEDBACK MENU, make sure the External Speaker is set of Off.
Select OK when finished.

7. If, after you reset your device you still don't have any sound, call the PRC Service Department at 1-800-262-1990.
