How do I get my Pathfinder Plus to Speak?
If your Pathfinder Plus is not speaking check the following settings:
1. If your words are coming up on the display but there is no sound, check the Status screen. Active the Status key once to see the Status screen. (The Status key is the third key down on the front of the case to the left of the display screen.)
2. On the Status screen, make sure Speech is turn On, and that Auditory prompts are turned Off (if you are using auditory prompts leave this On).
3. If the screen shows that Speech is turned Off, Select the Toolbox key.

4. Select Speech On/Off in the Toolbox.

5. On the display you will see, Speech is On.

7. If your device is still not speaking after a reset, call the PRC Service Department at 1-800-262-1990.
