Transferring Notebooks Using the USB port on a Vantage/Vanguard.
To save a Notebook
1. Make sure your USB Flash Drive or the Secure Digital Card is plugged into your communication aid.
2. In the TRANSFER MEMORY MENU, set MTI Method to AUTO. Select OK to exit.
3. Open the NOTEBOOK MENU.
4. Select Save a Notebook.
5. Your Notebooks are listed. Select the Notebook you want to save.
6. The Notebook is loaded onto your flash drive or SD card as a text file ( .txt ).
7. Activate OK to exit.
Load a Notebook
You must have a Notebook to load on your USB flash drive or Secure Digital card.
1. Make sure your USB Flash Drive or the Secure Digital Card is plugged into your communication aid.
2. Make sure MTI Method is set to Auto in the TRANSFER MEMORY MENU.
3. Open the NOTEBOOK MENU.
4. Select Load a Notebook.
5. Any Notebooks on your USB drive or Secure Digital card are listed.
6. Select the Notebook you want to load.
7. The Notebook is loaded. Activate OK to exit.
