Using and Attaching the Power Pack to Accent 700

Energizer® XP8000 External Power Pack (EPP) Information Sheet

The Energizer XP8000 external power pack (EPP) works with the Accent line of products.  The XP8000 will supply an additional 4hours* of battery life without the need of connecting to an electrical outlet.  The EPP provides the freedom to add power when needed without carrying extra weight when it isn’t necessary.

The EPP can be used to recharge the Accent or the Accent can be run directly from the power pack.

For convenience and to make the power pack more portable, Velcro® strips are enclosed that can be applied to the power pack and the back of the Accent.  Then when the power pack is needed it can be attached to the back of the Accent, plugged in and ready to go.  The Velcro strips are an option and not required for use with the external power pack.

Suggestions for applying the Velcro strips:

1) Apply one piece of Velcro strip to the back of the Accent.

2) Apply the other strip to the opposite side of the XP8000 as the On/Off  button and Charge Indicator so they remain visible.

A charging diagram is included in the package with the power pack to show you which cable plugs into which ports. You may need to tuck the charging cables under the power pack to prevent them from being snagged on items.

The battery charger included with the Accent is the same charger for the Accent and the EPP.  The EPP can be charged at the same time as the Accent (as shown on the diagram) or by itself directly from the charging unit without charging the Accent.

*based on using the Accent under normal conditions.  Battery life will vary depending on usage and power settings.
