The warning will continue to sound at intervals until the batteries are dead. When the batteries are dead, the device powers down completely and you cannot use it.

Battery LED

There is one LED on the top right / front of the screen.

The LED will blink a red battery icon when the device has a VERY LOW battery charge and battery charger is plugged in.

Once there is some charge in the battery pack, the LED will have a solid red battery icon when the batteries are charging.

IMPORTANT! Forcing the charger tip in too far will damage your device!

A complete charge, from dead battery to fully-charged battery, will take 3 - 4 hours. Your charging LED will turn solid blue when the battery is full.
