Select and Load an Eyegaze Profile
The NuEye system has several pre-defined profiles that you can choose from to help you get started. These profiles contain eyegaze settings that have been selected to match the profile name. For example, if you have never used an eyegaze system before, the Beginner profile contains the settings the will most likely work the best for you. If you have a lot of practice using an eyegaze system, you might want to try the Typical profile.
On the Eyegaze main page, select the Manage Eyegaze Profiles option.
Select Load Eyegaze Profiles.
Select the profile that best applies to you. If you have never used an eyegaze system before, select Beginner. If you have some practice using eyegaze, try Novice or Typical.
NOTE: If you do not see any Profiles to select from, you may need to Reset to Factory Defaults located under the Maintenance Menu, then try again.
You will see a yellow box asking if you want to copy these eyegaze settings to all Areas.
If you select NO, the settings will be copied only to the the Area you are currently using.
Note: For now, we suggest you selet NO.
If you select YES, the settings will be copied to all the User Areas in your device. You are also asked if you want to set all Areas to Eyegaze access. If you select YES, you will be using Eyegaze access in each Area in your device.
Select OK to exit the Profiles menu and return to the Eyegaze main page.
NOTE: You can pause the eyegaze system by selecting the PAUSE/RESUME button on the Eyegaze Menu main page. Select it again to resume eyegaze. Touch the screen to make selections.
