How do I Load New 3rd Party Software into the Accent?
In the Accent you will have access to loading various software programs and games onto your integrated device (Accent units that also have computer access built into the device), such as Internet Service Provider Software, Email, etc.
When loading third party software it is important to check that the software will be compatible with Windows XP and the device specifications. Most software and hardware add ons have the manufacturers specifications right on the box.
When loading software, it is important to follow the loading instructions for the software and obtain support from the software manufacturer. (PRC Technical Service will not support third party applications) When possible, it is recommended that you load the drivers only that are required to run any hardware devices that will be connected to the Accent. The least amount of programs that are flagged to "run at start-up" the better since this can bog down your operating system and cause your programs to run slow.
NOTE: You will not be able to load software or drivers into the Accent if it is a dedicated device (Accent unit for communication only). Please call PRC Sales for further information about turning your Accent into an integrated device. 1-800-262-1933
Linking to new Software:
Some pages are already programmed for you in the NuVoice software to support your software. Here is an example of the Unity 84 GMail page.

Important Note: PRC will provide support on basic programming in the NuVoice software and standard Windows XP applications that originally shipped with your device. Support for printers, drivers, applications such as MS Office, email and Internet setup should be obtained from the company that manufactures or sells those products. The link below may be helpful in obtaining support.
