How can I get the maximum number of hours from my SpringBoard battery?

On average you will get 8 hours of life from a battery before it needs recharged.

If you notice that you are not getting 8 hours of life from your battery pack there are a few settings  to check in order to maximize the life of your battery pack.

1. Change your Auto Power Down in the Maintenance menu from 5 minutes to 2 minutes.
The sooner your display shuts off when the SpringBoard Plus is not in use the less battery life that will be wasted.

2. Try reducing the Backlight Intensity and Contrast settings in your feedback menu.
The lower the settings less power that is used, and the longer your battery will last.

Note:
Remember you are trying to maximize your battery life, but not at the expense of the customer.

3.  Insure that when you unplugged the charger that the SpringBoard Plus battery status did show that it was 100%.

Note: If the SpringBoard Plus battery doesn't show 100% after you removed the charger, may indicate that either your charger isn't supplying enough voltage to charge the battery pack or you haven't had the charger plugged in for at least 6 hours.

4. If you are using an "Internal Tracker", you can only expect 4 hours of life from your battery pack since the internal camera requires more power to operate.

Note: The Internal Tracker is always on while the device is on regardless if the backlight is On or not.

5.  If you unplug the battery after a full charge and the battery status did show 100% but then does not last at least 6 hours then if is time for a new battery pack.  On average a battery pack will last 2 years before it is time to replace the battery.  PRC guarantees all battery packs for at least one year.
