Connecting the Bluetooth Adapter to a MAC with 10.6 Software
When connecting a Bluetooth Adapter to a MAC computer with software version 10.6, you must set up the Bluetooth Adapter to allow Computer Emulation.
1. Plug in the Bluetooth Adapter into the USB port of your MAC computer.
2. You will receive the following Keyboard Setup Assistant screen on your computer.

3. You must pair your device in the Output Menu under the Bluetooth Setting to the Bluetooth Adapter to continue with this set up process.
Note: Please see How do I use the Bluetooth Adapter with the Accent? for further instructions if needed.

4. Once paired, go to the QWERTY spelling keyboard (above) and select the letter Z key (1), which on most QWERTY spelling keyboards is the letter to the right of the left shift key.
Important Note: If this is not the key to the right of your shift key on your spelling page, select the Z key anyway for set up.
5. Next select the / key (2), which on most QWERTY spelling keyboards is the letter to the left of the right shift key.
Important Note: If this is not the key to the left of your shift key on your spelling page, select the / key anyway for set up.
6. Next your monitor will show the Conclusion screen. Check the ANSI setting, then click DONE.

7. Now your Adapter should be paired and set up for use with a Word Document on the MAC.
