How many hours should my Vantage/Vanguard Plus battery last?
1. The Vantage/Vanguard Plus battery pack should last for 8 hours of normal use.
2. If you are using the Internal Tracker headpointer, battery life could be reduced to 5 or 6 hours.
Note: The Internal Tracker is an internal camera in the Vantage/Vanguard Plus. The user wears a reflective dot which allows him or her to make selections on the overlay. The camera is always running whether the backlight is on or off.
3. If the Brightness and Contrast settings are set extremely high, this could also cause the overall battery time to be reduced by an additional hour.
4. If Auto Power Down is turned Off instead of being set to, 2, 5 or 10 minutes the display will always be On and the battery could loose an additional hour or more of battery life.
