About the Toolbox and Maps in Accent

MAPs

MAP = Morphological Application Program

When you purchased your PRC communication device you also selected one or more language systems to use with it, such as Unity® or Essence™.  Within this language system there are many built-in MAPs to choose from which contain pre-defined vocabulary. You use your MAP to speak messages, use a computer, talk on a cell phone, listen to music, etc.
