How do I Import an Icon into my EssencePRO?
You must have graphics/icons stored on your USB Flash Drive or other removable media in order to import them to your device. Your device will import most of the graphics files that Windows® will support.
Transferring Icons:
1. Plug your USB drive into your device.
2. Go to the Toolbox and open the TRANSFER MEMORY MENU.
3. Select Import Icons.
4. You see a list of all the pictures stored on the USB drive or SD card. Select the graphics you want to import, or use Select All to select all the graphics/icons. Select OK.
5. You see the imported graphic and some options:
Import as Scene
Right now the picture is ready to be added to a key. If you would rather have it imported for use on a Scene page, select this option.
NOTE: If you are importing a Scene, this option will ask if you want it to be an Icon.
Rotate Left - Rotate Right
Use to rotate the picture.
Rename Icon
You can give the picture a new name.
Maintain Aspect Ratio
Aspect Ratio refers to the ratio between the width and height of the picture. YES maintains the ratio you currently see; NO will stretch out the picture. We suggest you leave this set to YES.
When you have completed any changes, select OK.
6. You see the Select Category Page. Your device automatically places the graphic in an IMPORTS category folder. If you want the graphic available in another Category, select the Category. If you just want to keep the graphic in the IMPORTS folder, select Cancel to exit the Category Page.
7. You see the TRANSFER MEMORY MENU. Select OK to exit.
From now on, when you are in the Category Page, you will be able to use the imported icons in your IMPORTS folder.
Deleting Imported Icons
To delete Imported Icons in your EssencePRO, you must go to one of your editing menus such as Modify Page, select any page, choose any key, then go to the Change Icon or Modify Icon key in the lower left corner. Select the IMPORTS category. Select IMPORTS to view all your imported icons. In the lower left corner, select the key labeled Delete Icon then press the icon you wish to delete.
NOTE: You cannot Delete Icons from the specific Category you stored them in.
