Using the System Lock Override Tool in System Lock Settings
The addition of a System Lock Override tool has been added under the System Lock Menu.
This System Lock Override tool has been added to simplify programming when System Lock it ON. By using this feature you will no longer need to turn the System Lock OFF to program the Vantage Lite.
How it works:
1. You must have a USB flash drive to save the file to.
2. Insert Flash drive and go to Toolbox, to Maint Menu, to System Lock Settings.
3. Select Create System Lock Overide; you will see a yellow box that says System Lock Override successfully created on USB Disk.
4. Select OK to the yellow box.
5. Select OK to exit the Maintenance Menu
Once the file is created and when the flash drive containing the file is plugged in, you can simply do all your programming without having to turn System Lock OFF. When programming is complete, remove the Flash Drive and the unit remains locked.
NOTE: If the flash drive is lost, you can still use the standard methods for turning off System Lock.
