Problem: Wivik Keyboard will not Send Text to Word Processor.
There is an intermittent problem when running Windows Vista/7, 32bit, and WiViK 3.2, when clicking a key on the WiViK keyboard would result in WiViK receiving focus instead of the key being sent to the word processor. Meaning the letter selected in WiViK never makes it on the Word Document.
There currently is a workaround for this problem, but no fix. The problem comes up when the user sets a custom font size in Vista/7 (default is 100% under Magnifier tool) and unchecks the "XP Style DPI Scaling" checkbox found under Set Custom Test Size (DPI). These tools are located in the Control Panel under Display and should be set to 100% for Magnifier tool and under Set Custom Test Size (DPI) check box for Use Windows XP style DPI scaling then OK. (Default in Windows 7 is already checked). In addition, when the DPI setting is changed, Windows will prompt the user to log out and log back in. You must do this before the new settings take effect.
With these tools set properly, this should resolve the problem and allow WiVik to correctly operate.
