Using Word Prediction in Essence PRO
Word Prediction systems help improve a person’s ability to communicate by cutting down on the amount of time spent in spelling out words.
The PRC Word Prediction system predicts words based on how often (frequency) or how recently (recency) you have used the word.
Go to the spelling keyboard in the Essence program.
Press the WORD PREDICTION key 
to turn Word Prediction On.
Begin to spell "Tell me about it."
Notice the words that appear in the Word Prediction area. These will change every time you type a letter.
If you see the word you want, select it. You can also select the yellow arrow to see more words.
First Letter Only Prediction Keys
On some keyboards, when you type "L" the keys in the top row of the display turn yellow and have words on them. These are "first letter only prediction words". They usually show the more common words that we use every day. Once you type the second letter of the word they are no longer predicting. This is available only on the ABC + Pages, QWERTY + Pages, AEIOU + Pages and the QWERTY with Phrases keyboards.
